Step 8 is a 100-mark, 3-hour-15-minute exam-standard CBE attempted in the real ACCA software, then self-marked and self-reviewed against BPP's model answers and marking guidance, with a short video debrief — it isn't tutor-marked. For AAA especially, self-review is the skill: it trains you to catch where you listed a generic procedure instead of applying it to the scenario, or didn't explain why an issue matters — exactly where AAA marks and the professional skills marks are won and lost.
