ACCA Results 2026: Dates, Release Time & How to Check
ACCA Results 2026: Dates, Release Time & How to Check on myACCA
Every ACCA results release date and the exact time results go live β in UK, India and Gulf local time β plus how to read your myACCA screen, what each status means, and what to do next. Covers the June, September and December 2026 sittings.
ACCA June 2026 results are released on Monday 13 July 2026, and September 2026 results on Monday 19 October 2026. Session results go live in myACCA from just after midnight UK time (00:00β00:01) on the results date β so in India that is around 4:30am IST, in the Gulf around 3:00am GST, and most candidates simply find their result waiting when they wake up. December 2026 results follow on 18 January 2027.
1. ACCA exam results dates 2026 and 2027
Session exam results (Applied Skills and Strategic Professional) are released about five to six weeks after the exam week. The dates below are confirmed from ACCA's official session guidance; only March 2027 is an expected value.
| Session | Exam week | Results date | Next entry deadline |
|---|---|---|---|
| June 2026 | 1β5 June 2026 | 13 July 2026 | 27 July 2026 (Sept entry) |
| September 2026 | 7β11 September 2026 | 19 October 2026 | 2 November 2026 (Dec entry) |
| December 2026 | 7β11 December 2026 | 18 January 2027 | ~late January 2027 (Mar entry) |
| March 2027 | 1β5 March 2027* | ~mid-April 2027* | ~mid-April 2027 (Jun entry) |
Strategic Professional and the constructed-response Applied Skills papers are human-marked, so results take longer than a computer-marked test. The ~5β6 week gap is consistent every session. *March 2027 dates are expected values β ACCA confirms each session's exact dates closer to the time. Applied Knowledge papers (BT, MA, FA) and on-demand Corporate & Business Law (LW) variants are computer-marked CBEs: a provisional result shows on screen immediately, confirmed in myACCA within about 72 hours.

2. What time are ACCA results released β India, UK and the Gulf
ACCA publishes session results in myACCA from just after midnight UK time (00:00β00:01) on the results date β not at 8am, and not by email. Because India and the Gulf do not observe daylight saving but the UK does, the exact local time shifts depending on whether the UK is on British Summer Time (BST, summer) or GMT (winter) on results day.
| Results date | UK | India (IST) | Gulf / UAE (GST) | Australia (AEST/AEDT) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| June 2026 β 13 Jul | 00:00 BST | 4:30am IST | 3:00am GST | 9:00am AEST |
| September 2026 β 19 Oct | 00:00 BST | 4:30am IST | 3:00am GST | 10:00am AEDT |
| December 2026 β 18 Jan 2027 | 00:00 GMT | 5:30am IST | 4:00am GST | 11:00am AEDT |
For June and September, the UK is on BST (UTC+1), so results land at 4:30am IST / 3:00am GST. For December, the UK is on GMT (UTC+0), so results land an hour later at 5:30am IST / 4:00am GST. Either way it is the early hours of the morning β most Indian and Gulf candidates simply find their result in myACCA when they wake up, or receive the SMS shortly after. Opt in to SMS results in myACCA at least seven days before results day to be texted automatically.
3. How to check your ACCA results
Results are released just after midnight UK time on the official results date. You access them through myACCA β not via email.
Log in with your ACCA student number and password. If you have forgotten your password, reset it before results day β ACCA's password reset system gets congested on results morning.
Results appear here as soon as they are released. The portal can load slowly on results morning due to high traffic β refresh after a few minutes if your result does not appear immediately.
A PDF certificate-style notification is available from the same screen. Keep this β you may need it for employer verification.
Below your individual paper result, myACCA shows your cumulative progress β papers passed, papers remaining, PER status, and whether you are now an affiliate.
You may receive a general notification email, but the actual result β pass or fail, and your score β is only visible in myACCA. Any unofficial third-party site claiming to show results early or via a separate portal is not legitimate.
4. What each myACCA status message means
| Status on screen | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pass | You have met the 50% pass mark for this paper | Nothing required β credit is permanent and carries forward to the new 2027 structure automatically |
| Fail | You scored below 50% | Check the score, decide whether to resit in September or December, book your next session before the deadline |
| Absent | You were registered but did not sit the exam | You lose the exam fee. Re-enter the next available session if you still need the paper |
| Exempt | This paper has been credited through an exemption (e.g. CA Final) | No action needed β exemption is permanent |
| PER outstanding | You have passed all required exams but not completed the 3-year Practical Experience Requirement | Log your experience in myACCA. Your supervisor must verify entries. You cannot become an affiliate until this is complete |
| Affiliate | You have passed all exams AND completed PER β you are now an ACCA affiliate | Apply for ACCA membership. You can use "ACCA affiliate" while awaiting full membership approval |
| Ethics module outstanding | You have passed required exams but not completed the Ethics and Professional Skills Module | Complete the online module via the myACCA learning portal β it typically takes 2β3 weeks |
5. What your score actually means
The pass mark for every ACCA paper is 50%. That is the only threshold that matters. There is no merit band, no distinction grade, and no official difference between a 51% pass and a 79% pass on your ACCA record β both appear as "Pass."
Your numerical score does appear on your results notification and in myACCA, but it is not included on your ACCA certificate or membership record. Employers see "Pass" β not your mark. The practical implication: a borderline pass is as valid as a high pass. Do not spend energy worrying about whether 52% is a "weak" result.
This is more common than most students expect. ACCA's marking process includes standardisation across markers, and difficulty calibration between sessions means a paper that feels brutal may have a lower effective cut-off than usual. Walking out feeling uncertain does not predict your result. Most Applied Skills papers pass between 43% and 56% of sitters β so a meaningful proportion of students who pass also walked out feeling unsure.
"I came out of FR convinced I'd failed β couldn't answer the consolidation question properly, ran out of time on Section C. Refreshed myACCA on results morning ready for a fail. It said 54%. I'll never know how, but I'll take it." β ACCA student, India (composite profile)
6. If you passed: what to do in the next 48 hours
That is 14 days after June results. Do not wait. Entry fills up at popular centres, and the standard (lower) fee applies up to 27 July; note there is no late entry for the June session itself. Book the day results come out if you know which paper you are sitting next.

A fail does not mean you were not ready β ACCA Applied Skills pass rates run between 40% and 56% per session. If you sat PM, AA or FM, you were in a paper where nearly half of global sitters failed with you. The question to answer calmly is when and how, not whether.
| Paper failed | Pass rate* | Recommended next session | Key change to make |
|---|---|---|---|
| PM (Performance Management) | ~40β43% | September 2026, or wait for E5 in Sept 2027 | Section C narrative β calculation alone is not enough. See our PM to E5 guide for the marks being lost |
| AA (Audit & Assurance) | ~44β46% | September 2026 | Audit risk points must be specific to the scenario β generic points ("risk of misstatement") score 0 |
| FR (Financial Reporting) | ~50β53% | September 2026 | Group accounts consolidation is the primary fail point β practise worked examples, not just theory |
| FM (Financial Management) | ~48β51% | September 2026 | Working capital and NPV β time management is often the issue, not knowledge |
| SBR (Strategic Business Reporting) | ~49β52% | December 2026 β last SBR sitting, becomes S1 from Sept 2027 | Apply standards to the scenario, don't recite them. Link disclosures to the company's specific facts |
| SBL (Strategic Business Leader) | ~50β54% | September or December 2026 | Professional marks β communication, scepticism, analysis β are where most underperform. Technical content alone is insufficient |
*Figures are recent session averages. Official June 2026 pass rates publish with results on 13 July 2026 β check ACCA pass rates for updated data.
The resit timing question: September vs December 2026. For most Applied Skills papers, September is the right call β it keeps momentum, the syllabus is fresh, and 10 weeks is enough to fix the specific gaps that caused the fail. The exception is if you genuinely do not know why you failed. In that case, waiting for December and diagnosing the mark breakdown (via ACCA's administrative review) beats rushing a resit with the same preparation.
8. Requesting an administrative review: is it worth it?
ACCA's administrative review checks that your script was marked correctly β that marks were totalled correctly, no pages were missed, and the mark scheme was applied consistently. It is not a re-read of your answers by a senior examiner. The fee is refunded if an error is found.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What does it actually check? | Arithmetic errors, missing pages, mark-transfer errors β not whether the marker's judgment was correct |
| How much does it cost? | Approximately Β£65 GBP (check the current fee on accaglobal.com β varies by paper) |
| Is it worth requesting? | If you scored 45β49% and believe you answered well, yes β the mechanical check occasionally finds errors. Below 44%, a result-changing error is very unlikely |
| How long does it take? | Written confirmation of the outcome is issued a few weeks after the closing date (see the schedule below) |
| What is the deadline? | About 9 days after results β 28 October 2026 for September, 27 January 2027 for December |
| Can it change a fail to a pass? | Yes β but rarely. The primary value is confirmation your mark is accurate, not expectation of a change |
9. Post-results deadlines β September & December 2026
If you need to challenge a result or flag mitigating circumstances, the windows are tight and session-specific. All deadlines are 23:59 UK time on the date shown.
| Milestone | September 2026 | December 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Centre complaints close | 15 September 2026 | 15 December 2026 |
| Mitigating circumstances close | 22 September 2026 | 22 December 2026 |
| Exam cancellation requests | 23 September 2026 | 23 December 2026 |
| Results released | 19 October 2026 | 18 January 2027 |
| Administrative review closes | 28 October 2026 | 27 January 2027 |
| Admin review outcome (by) | w/c 9 November 2026 | w/c 8 February 2027 |
| Admin review / mitigating appeal closes | 18 November 2026 | 17 February 2027 |
| Appeal outcomes released | 25 November 2026 | 24 February 2027 |
10. Mitigating circumstances
If something outside your control affected your performance β serious illness, bereavement, or a technical failure at the exam centre β you can submit a mitigating circumstances claim. Each session has its own deadline, shortly after the exam week and before results: 22 September 2026 for the September session, and 22 December 2026 for December. If you believe your performance was genuinely affected, submit before your session's deadline even if you are unsure of your result.
ACCA's mitigating circumstances process does not change your mark. It flags your result for consideration and, where the evidence is strong, may lead to an examiner review of your script or a decision that your known performance level suggests the result is unrepresentative. It is not a guarantee and should be used only for genuine, documented circumstances.
11. The 6-week wait: how to use the time well
Between finishing your last paper and receiving results, obsessing over answer discussions online and doing nothing at all are both counterproductive. The students who handle this period best treat it as a planning window, not a holding pattern.
| Week | What to do | What to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 (just finished) | Rest genuinely. Take a week away from ACCA content entirely β your brain needs it. | Posting "did anyone else think Q32 was impossible?" β it raises anxiety without changing the result |
| Week 2β3 | Update your PER log in myACCA. Review which papers remain and research which to sit next. | Buying materials before you know your result β wait until results day to confirm which paper |
| Week 4β5 | Light reading on your next intended paper. Treat it as orientation, not intensive study. | Starting full study mode β burn-out risk is real with no break between sessions |
| Results day (Week 6) | Book the next entry if passing. Order books. If failing, sit with the result for a day before planning the resit. | Making permanent decisions (quitting, switching qualifications) in the first 24 hours after a fail |
12. Frequently asked questions
What time are ACCA results released?
ACCA session results go live in myACCA from just after midnight UK time (00:00β00:01) on the results date β not at 8am, and not by email. For June and September (UK on BST) that is about 4:30am IST in India and 3:00am GST in the Gulf; for December (UK on GMT) it is about 5:30am IST and 4:00am GST.
What time are ACCA results released in India?
Because results drop at midnight UK time and India (IST) does not use daylight saving, June and September 2026 results appear at about 4:30am IST, and December 2026 results at about 5:30am IST. Most Indian candidates simply find their result in myACCA when they wake up on results day, or get the SMS shortly after.
What is the ACCA result date for June 2026?
ACCA June 2026 results are released on Monday 13 July 2026, about six weeks after the 1β5 June exam week.
What is the ACCA result date for September 2026?
ACCA September 2026 results are released on Monday 19 October 2026. The September exams run 7β11 September 2026.

How can I get my ACCA result by SMS?
Log in to myACCA and opt in to SMS results at least seven days before the release date. You only do this once β every future result is then texted to you automatically as soon as it is published.
I passed but only by a few marks β is my pass valid?
Yes, fully valid. ACCA does not differentiate between a 50% pass and a 75% pass on your official record. Both appear as "Pass." There is no merit tier and no employer-facing indication of your margin β a pass is a pass.
What is the September 2026 exam entry deadline?
The standard entry deadline for September 2026 is 27 July 2026, with late entry until 3 August 2026. December 2026 standard entry closes 2 November 2026 (late entry 9 November 2026).
Can I get my ACCA result rechecked?
Yes β via an administrative review, which checks for marking or administrative errors (not examiner judgment). The deadline is about nine days after results: 28 October 2026 for September, 27 January 2027 for December. The fee is refunded if an error is found.
I passed my final exam β am I now an ACCA member?
Not yet β you are an ACCA affiliate. Affiliate status means you have completed all exams and PER. To become a full member you apply through myACCA, pay the membership fee, and pass ACCA's review β typically 4β8 weeks. Once approved you can use the ACCA letters after your name.
