• Applied Skills becomes the Expertise level, with five papers.

• Essential Employability Modules are added at each level as non-exam progression gates.
• Timing: everything up to and including the June 2027 session runs on the current syllabus. Redesigned Knowledge level exams open in July 2027 as on-demand computer-based exams; Expertise and Strategic Professional follow in September 2027.

Can you study ACCA online in India?

You can study fully online, but you can no longer examine online. Tuition, study text and question practice can all be done remotely. The exam itself must be sat at an approved exam centre, following ACCA's withdrawal of remote invigilation for centre-provision countries from the March 2026 session. India has centre provision, so Indian candidates are within scope. Remote invigilation continues only where ACCA operates no exam centre, plus limited medical and accessibility exceptions assessed case by case. The practical consequence for course choice is that mock exams should replicate the timing, interface and constraints of ACCA's centre-based computer exams. Candidates who prepared during the remote era sometimes underestimate the difference: fixed timing, unfamiliar hardware and no personal setup.

How ACCA partner terminology actually works

ACCA runs two separate programmes that marketing copy routinely conflates, and knowing the difference lets you check any provider's claim in a minute.
